Job summary

EducationHQ is seeking a dedicated school counsellor to be based at Cobar High School in far western NSW. You will provide counselling and psychological assessment to support student learning and wellbeing, working with teachers, families and external agencies to make a meaningful difference in students' lives.

Based in a rural high school, you will collaborate across the lifespan with students from Year 7 to Year 12, benefit from regular supervision, professional development, and NSW Department

Qualifications

• Experience in counselling with evidence-based interventions for children and young people.
• Experience in psychological assessment of children and young people, including case formulation and report writing.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide counselling and psychological assessment for students.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and external agencies to support student wellbeing.
