Job summary

Department of Education and Training in Alice Springs is seeking qualified school counsellors to support student wellbeing and safety. You will work with school wellbeing teams and families to promote inclusion and attendance through evidence-based interventions within a MTSS framework.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based counselling to support the wellbeing and safety of students.
• Collaborate with school wellbeing teams and families to promote wellbeing, inclusion and attendance using a multi-tiered system of supports framework.
• Deliver whole-school/classroom support, small group interventions and individual counselling.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive environment that enhances student outcomes.
