Job summary

Moran Health Care Group is hiring a permanent part-time Food Services Assistant to join the Food Services Team at Moran Engadine, southern Sydney.

Above award rates are offered, with base hourly rates from AU$28.16 to AU$30.38. You will work with driven colleagues in modern facilities and contribute to residents enjoying their life each day.

Qualifications

• Interest in food, nutrition, or wellbeing and their benefits.
• Interest in working as part of a kitchen team.
• Pride in delivering quality work.
• Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate desirable.
• Valid work permit and current police check required.

Responsibilities

• Plating food at mealtimes.
• Preparing food under supervision of Chef.

About the opportunity

We are currently seeking an efficient and professional permanent part time Food Services Assistant to join our Food Services Team at ourMoran Engadine home, nested in a family oriented suburb in southern Sydney. Above award rates - from $28.16 to $30.38 base hourly rate!

You will work with driven and diverse people in modern facilities where you will be enabled to develop your skills.

You will work with a great team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents’ enjoyment of their life every day. Moran offers a rewarding work environment consisting of modern facilities and equipment.

Key Duties:

• Plating food at mealtimes
• Preparing food under the direction of Chef
• Keeping your assigned work area clean ready for handover to the next shift
• Restocking supplies and receive goods
• Recording temperatures, complete checklists
• Maintaining personal hygiene standards
• Working as a member of the Food Services teams

Skills/Requirements:

• Interested in food, nutrition, or general well-being and their benefits
• Interested in working as part of a team in a kitchen environment
• A person who takes pride in what they do
