Job summary

Moran Health Care Group is seeking a part-time Food Services Assistant to join the Moran Engadine home in southern Sydney. You will plate meals, assist the chef, restock supplies, and keep areas clean for handover.

You should have an interest in food and teamwork, with a Food Safety or Handling Certificate highly desirable. A valid work permit and police check are required. Above-award base rates apply from $28.16 to $30.38 per hour.

We are currently seeking an efficient and professional permanent part time Food Services Assistant to join our Food Services Team at our Moran Engadine home, nested in a family oriented suburb in southern Sydney.

Above award rates - from $28.16 to $30.38 base hourly rate!

Key Duties

• Plating food at mealtimes
• Preparing food under the direction of Chef
• Keeping your assigned work area clean ready for handover to the next shift
• Restocking supplies and receive goods
• Recording temperatures, complete checklists
• Maintaining personal hygiene standards
• Working as a member of the Food Services teams

Skills/Requirements

• Interested in food, nutrition, or general well-being and their benefits
• Interested in working as part of a team in a kitchen environment
• A person who takes pride in what they do
• Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate highly desirable
• Must have a valid work permit and a current police check
