Responsabilités

• Accurately prepare and assemble meals based on individual lunch orders, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met.
• Oversee the daily operations of the canteen, including meal planning, inventory management, and ensuring timely service.
• Lead and manage the canteen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Computer literacy and good written communication skills.
• Ensure all food preparation and service areas comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Organize and prepare the canteen for special events and functions, including setting up equipment and clearing down after the event.
• Ordering and adhering to and completing quality assurance documents.
• Perform basic cooking tasks to prepare a variety of food and beverages, ensuring quality and taste standards are met.

We are looking for a passionate and organized School Canteen Manager to join our client's prestigious private boarding school in Dubbo, NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity to create nutritious, delicious meals while becoming part of a welcoming and supportive school environment.

Shift Schedule

Thursday & Friday: 9:00am - 2:00pm. Additional hours may be available as required for school functions and special events.

School Holiday Arrangements

Special stand-down arrangements apply to school-based employees. During school holidays, we will endeavour to provide alternative work where possible. If suitable work is unavailable, employees may be required to take paid or unpaid leave.

Requirements

• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) Check, or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
• A positive attitude and passion for creating a great food experience for students and staff.
