Job summary

Ignite is seeking a Scheduling and Control Team Leader to join Australia’s federal government projects. The role involves leading scheduling controls across Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney offices, delivering a broad programme managed by the EPMO.

You will oversee team allocation, develop scheduling methodologies, establish baselines, and coordinate data quality, reporting and analytics for multiple projects.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in project scheduling and control.
• Proven team leadership experience.
• Detailed knowledge of project scheduling techniques.
• Experience in resource allocation, management and forecasting.
• Primavera or Microsoft Project expertise.

Working in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney office, you will be involved in delivery of a range of projects controlled by the EPMO. This programme is part of a large technology uplift across the entire organisation.

Reporting to the Program and Project Control Manager you will be responsible for:

• Leading the project scheduling and controls team
• Allocation of work to the team
• Lead the development of the project scheduling methodologies
• Establish EPMO baselines and controls
• Scheduling of the data quality management
• Reporting and analytics if projects

We are keen to speak with people who have:

• At least 10 years of experience in project Scheduling and control
• Team leadership experience
