The Australian Reinforcing Company (ARC) is hiring a Scheduler to join our Hemmant, Brisbane team. You will support reinforcing steel supply across multiple construction projects, interpreting drawings, coordinating production requirements and ensuring accurate, on-time delivery.

The role suits someone who can handle competing priorities and build strong relationships in a busy construction environment. Core hours are 8:30am–4:30pm with flexibility.

ARC is looking for Schedulers to join our team in Hemmant, Brisbane (we are also open to hearing from candidates located on the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast). In this role, you will support the supply of reinforcing steel across multiple construction projects, working closely with customers and internal teams to interpret drawings, coordinate production requirements and ensure accurate, on-time delivery. This is a role for someone who can manage competing priorities, build strong relationships and bring a practical understanding of reinforcing steel or scheduling within construction.

Core hours are 8:30am–4:30pm, with flexibility around this when needed to suit your schedule.

What you will be doing:

• Coordinate customer requirements with Sales, Production and Operations to schedule reinforcing steel orders accurately and on time.
• Interpret structural drawings and generate bar cutting and bending lists.
• Manage customer enquiries, updates, drawings, lead times and production schedules.
• Balance multiple projects and delivery deadlines while keeping customers and internal teams aligned.
• Maintain a strong focus on WHS and compliance across scheduling activities.

What you will bring:

• Practical reo knowledge highly regarded, ideally from site work, installation oversight or scheduling/detailing exposure.
• Ability to interpret structural drawings and manage competing project deadlines with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communication across customers, production, sales and operations, with flexibility when project needs require it.
• Experience using AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam will be highly regarded.
• Exposure to ARMA software is advantageous.
