Job summary

Komatsu Mining Corp. is seeking a Scheduler to join Production Control in Rutherford, NSW.

You will develop integrated project and production schedules, manage SAP scheduling, and provide capacity planning and critical path analyses to support on-time delivery. Working with Operations, Engineering, Supply and Project Teams, you’ll deliver schedule governance, progress updates, and performance insights while maintaining schedule integrity across project lifecycles and coordinating with

• Trade background or significant scheduling experience in heavy equipment manufacturing, maintenance, overhaul or complex project environments.
• Experience working with project schedules, resource planning and capacity management.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence a broad range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and optimise project and production schedules that support operational performance and delivery success.
• Develop integrated project schedules using inputs from Operations, Engineering, Supply, Planning and Project Teams.
• Manage SAP scheduling, capacity planning and date controls to support production execution.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changing priorities and delivery requirements.
• Analyse critical paths, constraints and schedule risks to identify impacts and recovery opportunities.
• Support long-range and short-range planning activities and provide scheduling updates to stakeholders.
• Produce schedule reports and performance insights that enable informed decision-making.

Job Overview

As a Scheduler, you'll play a critical role within Production Control, ensuring integrated project schedules, resource planning, and production activities are aligned to achieve delivery commitments and customer outcomes.

Working as part of a team of dedicated Schedulers, you'll support the successful execution of remanufacturing projects by providing schedule governance, capacity planning, critical path analysis, and production visibility across the project lifecycle.

Key Job Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for creating, maintaining and optimising project and production schedules that support operational performance and delivery success, including:

• Developing integrated project schedules using inputs from Operations, Engineering, Supply, Planning and Project Teams.
• Managing SAP scheduling, capacity planning and date controls to support production execution.
• Monitoring project progress and updating schedules to reflect changing priorities and delivery requirements.
• Analysing critical paths, constraints and schedule risks to identify impacts and recovery opportunities.
• Supporting long-range and short-range planning activities and providing accurate scheduling updates to stakeholders.
• Producing schedule reports and performance insights that enable informed decision-making.
• Supporting change management activities by incorporating project variations and maintaining schedule integrity throughout project execution.
