Job summary

Komatsu Australia is seeking a Purchasing professional to join our Supply Chain team, with a Brisbane preference. You will manage purchasing activities from PO to delivery across our national network, resolving supply issues and expediting priority orders to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.

You will collaborate with multiple teams—Parts Supply, Planning, Master Data, Accounts Payable and Logistics—and with our OEM suppliers and freight partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing and/or vendor management.
• Very strong attention to data accuracy.
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
• Confident communicator across business areas.

We have an exciting internal opportunity for a Purchasing to join our Supply Chain team with a preference for Brisbane.

Reporting to the National Purchasing Supervisor, this role plays an important part in ensuring Komatsu parts are available where and when our customers need them. You'll manage purchasing activities from purchase order through to delivery, working across our national network to resolve supply issues, raise firm future orders (FFO), expedite priority orders and support strong customer outcomes.

You’ll work closely with teams across Parts Supply, Purchasing, Planning, Master Data, Accounts Payable, Logistics and our warehouses, as well as our OEM suppliers and freight partners and the Brisbane DC with shovel shutdowns

What We're Looking For:

This could be a great opportunity if you already have experience across Parts, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Inventory, Logistics or another operational area and are looking to broaden your knowledge and build your career within Komatsu.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Purchasing and/or vendor management experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills.
• Confidence communicating and building relationships across different areas of the business.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach when priorities change or supply challenges arise.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping stakeholders informed.
