Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment, based in Tullamarine VIC, seeks a Scheduler to own a broad role spanning procurement, quoting and supplier coordination within residential construction. You will prepare Bills of Quantities for single-storey and townhouse projects and manage supplier quotes.

The position offers a flat-structured team, predominantly work from home with occasional office visits, and a salary up to AUD 120K plus Super.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, procurement or estimating within residential construction.
• Confident reviewing quotes and liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail and solid organisational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a WFH setup while staying connected to the team.

Responsibilities

• Preparing Bills of Quantities for single-storey and townhouse projects.
• Sending documentation out for supplier and subcontractor quotes.
• Reviewing returned quotes and coordinating with the broader team to confirm the right fit.
• Raising purchase orders for labour and materials.
• Supporting the Accounts team with queries relating to short order invoices and purchase orders.
• Reviewing the quality of work completed by external contractors and providing constructive feedback.
