Qualifications

• Mid-senior level experience in SCADA engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of SCADA architecture and industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with SCADA communication protocols and data acquisition techniques.
• Experience configuring and maintaining SCADA applications and associated hardware.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and industry standards for industrial control systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Perth.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SCADA system architectures to meet project and client requirements
• Configure and program SCADA applications, including HMI and data acquisition components
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with control systems
• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and validation to ensure performance and reliability
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing SCADA installations
• Ensure SCADA systems comply with industry standards and cybersecurity best practices
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and system schematics
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define system requirements and deliverables
• Stay current with emerging SCADA technologies and recommend improvements
