Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in a related engineering/IT field.
- Knowledge of SCADA, automation systems, and Ethernet networks.
- Understanding of cyber security risks in secondary utility systems and SOCI Act.
- Experience with software applications, databases and programming; ability to develop automated tools.
- Strong analytical, data analysis and reporting skills with attention to detail.
- Collaborative, adaptable team player able to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance remote access and configuration management system.
- Develop automation templates, configurations, I/O lists and test plans.
- Configure and deliver minor SCADA and monitoring projects.
- Support IEC 61850 zone substation engineering and lab testing.
- Identify and remediate cyber security vulnerabilities across secondary systems.
- Maintain asset data and contribute to maintenance/replacement plans.
- Monitor distribution substation devices and report SCADA quality and health.
- Improve Automation Systems processes and uphold Evoenergy values and safety.
