Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead Kuiper satellite production in Redmond, WA. You will oversee technicians in a clean-room, manage assembly, test and integration of complex subsystems, and ensure safety and quality on the shop floor.

You will coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams, implement training, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-reliability environment that ships satellite hardware globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience leading a team.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical hardware assembly, test, and/or installation.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop and supervise leads and a large group of technicians.
• Coordinate daily tasks for technicians and plan with engineers.
• Establish on-the-job training programs.
• Manage technicians performing integration and test in clean-room.
• Inspect and verify work to meet standards.
• Maintain process documentation and procedures.
• Collaborate with teams to drive improvements.
• Provide feedback and technical reviews on designs and processes.
• Improve area safety and audit/reporting mechanisms.
