Job summary

Amazon Leo, Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network, is building an embedded software team to deliver fast, reliable internet to diverse users. You will write firmware and system software, drive security features, and collaborate with hardware teams for board bring-up and integration.

We seek engineers with 3+ years of professional software development and design/architecture experience, plus a BS in CS or equivalent. The role offers full-time work with competitive pay and RSUs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in Rust, C, C++, or other modern languages.
• Write device drivers and system applications for satellite systems and interfaces like I2C, SPI, CAN.
• Develop security features for satellite systems.
• Work closely with other software and hardware teams to support board bring-up and integration.
