CHC Helicopter Australia is seeking an experienced Aircrew Officer for roles based in Tindal, NT. This fixed-base or touring position involves SAR, EMS, rappelling, sling loading and winching operations, with duties managing the aircraft rear cabin and supporting flight crews.

You’ll hold CASA medical and aircrew certifications, with hoist endorsement and health fitness requirements. Flexible rosters, cross-base travel, and a strong safety culture are core to the role.

Qualifications

• Must hold CASA Class II Medical and medical readiness for aircrew duties.
• Current advanced resuscitation and first aid certifications are required.
• Flight radiotelephone operator licence is essential.
• Hoist endorsement and CASA compliance are preferred.
• Valid Class 1 driver’s licence and aviation certificate complete the profile.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures across operations.
• Support flight operations and manage aircraft rear cabin during flying.
• Deliver pre-flight and post-flight briefings and inspections.
• Maintain SAR/EMS equipment knowledge and safe operation.
• Travel to CHC bases and training locations as required.
• Complete periodic fitness testing and act as safety champion.
