Job summary

Services Australia is seeking an APS5 Associate Software Engineer to join a dynamic government software team in Canberra. This hybrid role starts onsite for an initial 6 weeks, then offers flexible work arrangements as you contribute to government technology initiatives.

You will develop, test and maintain software applications, write clean code and assist with design and implementation while following established standards and security practices.

We're Hiring: APS5 Associate Software Engineer (Developer)

Working Arrangement: Hybrid (initially onsite for the first 6 weeks)

Start Date: 1 January 2027

Contract: 12 months, with potential extensions up to 24 months

Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain Baseline clearance
