Job summary

Compas in Canberra is seeking a SAP Finance Business Analyst to support ongoing enhancements, governance, and optimisation of SAP Finance systems and related processes. The role involves requirements gathering, process improvement, testing and UAT across finance transformation initiatives.

The position is hybrid—Canberra-based with some remote options; a Negative Vetting Level 2 security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated business analysis experience across finance, ERP or corporate systems.
• Experience with SAP Finance solutions and financial management processes.
• Strong requirements gathering, process documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience supporting testing and delivery within Agile, ITIL or project environments.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Support SAP Finance enhancements, issue resolution, upgrades, testing and UAT activities.
• Analyse and improve finance processes to support standardisation, automation and governance.
• Support finance transformation initiatives while liaising with business, ICT and vendor teams.

SAP Finance Business Analyst
Support the ongoing enhancement, governance and optimisation of SAP Finance systems and business processes, working across requirements, process improvement, testing and finance transformation initiatives.
Location:ACT
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Canberra based with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home considered. Full remote working within Australia may be considered for the right applicant.
Contract Duration: 12 months with 2 x 12-month extension options
Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 2
