Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Analyst to deliver end-to-end SAP Finance transformations across AR, AP, Treasury, and REFX. You will lead design workshops, drive governance-aligned solutions, and collaborate with business and IT teams to translate complex requirements into scalable finance solutions.

In this role, you’ll

• You will provide expert functional analysis and design oversight for SAP Finance solutions within an S/4HANA environment, ensuring solutions align with business requirements, governance frameworks and architecture standards.
• You will lead complex design workshops, develop scalable and fit-for-purpose solutions, and collaborate closely with business and technical teams throughout testing and implementation.
• Drawing on your extensive SAP Finance expertise, you will enhance solution quality, build stakeholder confidence and contribute to the successful delivery of complex Finance transformation initiatives.
• Strong functional expertise across Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Banking, Treasury, Real Estate Management (REFX), Asset Accounting and Management Accounting is desirable.

About you

You will be an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Analyst with deep functional expertise across FI/CO, Asset Accounting, Treasury, Banking, REFX, Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). You will bring substantial hands‑on experience delivering SAP Finance transformation initiatives, including functional analysis, solution design, configuration and implementation within large, complex enterprise environments. You will have a strong understanding of end-to-end Finance business processes, SAP integrations and S/4HANA solution design, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective and scalable Finance solutions. Your experience will demonstrate a strong Finance domain focus, supported by practical knowledge of how SAP Finance integrates with broader business processes and systems. A confident communicator and trusted adviser, you will be comfortable engaging and influencing senior business and technical stakeholders, facilitating complex discussions and driving effective outcomes. You will hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Finance or a related discipline, or have equivalent demonstrated experience. SAP S/4HANA Finance certification and/or significant hands‑on S/4HANA Finance implementation experience within complex enterprise environments will be highly regarded.
