Job summary

Subway Nowra is hiring a Sandwich Artist™ to join our team at Nowra Mall. You will greet guests, prepare and serve Subway sandwiches, and deliver excellent customer service while following brand standards.

Ideally you have experience in food prep or retail, but training is provided. This role offers growth opportunities within a supportive franchise environment and a chance to develop supervisory skills over time.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation is desirable but not essential.
• Willing to undertake training and complete Subway University courses.
• Good hygiene and safety awareness are important.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food storage and preparation areas meet Health & Safety standards.
• Comply with Food Code of Practice.
• Operate the till and process transactions.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Follow security and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers.
• Present a professional image in uniform to meet brand standards.
• Work as part of a team to deliver great customer service.

Job Introduction

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses. What’s more important is a winning attitude. If you’re currently working in retail or in a restaurant, perhaps you are studying or have recently graduated and are looking to start a career in the food industry. This could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Main Responsibilities
