Job summary

Subway is hiring a Junior Sandwich Artist at Robina Town Centre Foodcourt on the Gold Coast. This temporary/casual role focuses on friendly customer service, food preparation, and delivering Subway's brand experience.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided. You will be part of a franchise team in a busy food-service environment, with opportunities for career progression within the brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation, retail sales or customer service is desirable but not essential.
• Full training will be provided via in-house Subway courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained to Health & Safety standards.
• Comply with Food Code of Practice.
• Till Operator duties.
• Monitor stock levels.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Follow security and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers.
• Maintain a neat, uniform appearance to meet Subway branding.
• Work as a team member.
• Deliver high standard of service for product sales and catering.

Job Introduction

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses. What’s more important is a winning attitude. If you’re currently working in retail or in a restaurant, perhaps you are studying or have recently graduated and are looking to start a career in the food industry. This could be the perfect opportunity for you!
