Responsibilities

• Receive clients' deliveries and confirm samples meet testing requirements.
• Process incoming sample deliveries into the laboratory including sorting and labeling.
• Read and understand client documentation.
• Organise and follow up of freight pick-ups for internal and interstate samples.
• Liaising with clients regarding sample submissions.
• Maintaining filing systems and documentation.
• Maintaining an excellent standard of occupational health and safety.

The day to day:

The Environmental Risk Services division in Yatala are looking for a new staff member for a Sample Receipt Officer role to join a well-established team. This role is primarily focused on incoming and outgoing goods to support the success and efficiency of our commercial laboratory.

This is a fast-paced and varied role that will see you unpacking and sorting with accuracy.

• Receive clients' deliveries and confirm samples meet the testing requirements.
• Process incoming sample deliveries into the laboratory including the sorting and labelling of samples.
• Read and understand client documentation.
• Organise and follow up of freight pick-ups for internal and interstate samples.
• Liaising with clients (internal and external) regarding sample submissions
• Maintaining filing systems and documentation
• Maintaining an excellent standard of occupational health and safety

• Exposure to or interest in robotics, AI, process automation or digital optimisation
