Job summary

Team Global Express Pty is seeking a Freight Coordinator / Same Day Consultant to join our Melbourne Airport team in a permanent full-time role. This fast-paced position coordinates urgent freight movements across our Same Day and Premium Services network, working with customers, drivers, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and high service levels.

You will manage bookings, dispatch, tracking, and customer updates via phone and email, handle disruptions, prepare quotes,

Qualifications

• Previous experience in transport, logistics or fast-paced operations.
• Experience coordinating deliveries, dispatching or scheduling is highly regarded.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Same Day and Premium Services freight movements from booking through to delivery.
• Allocate and coordinate jobs with drivers, subcontractors and service providers.
• Monitor freight movements and proactively manage delivery performance throughout the day.
• Track consignments and ensure service commitments are achieved.
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and internal systems.
• Work with branches and account managers to deliver outstanding service outcomes.
