Job summary

Harvey Norman Warrawong Flooring Team seeks a passionate Salesperson focused on delivering Great Service, Always! to customers. You will apply knowledge of flooring products and provide solutions for home needs while working with a supportive team.

The role requires enthusiasm for retail, strong customer service, and flexibility across trading hours, including weekends. A driver’s license is preferred to support home measurements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-focused, successful retail business.
• Strong knowledge of flooring products (carpets, timber, tiles) is a plus.
• Ability to measure, draw, read plans, and explain flooring solutions to customers.
• Current driver's license and reliable transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and flooring recommendations.
• Measure spaces, read plans, and advise on appropriate products.
• Process sales and upsell based on customer needs.
• Maintain store standards and contribute to team targets.

As a Salesperson, you will have an understanding of life at home solutions and a desire to find the best outcome for our customers.

What we require:

• Experience in (or ability to work in) a customer focused, successful retail business
• A high level of Flooring product knowledge such as carpets, timber floors and tiles to support customer queries
• Must be able to measure, draw, read plans and sell flooring products in home
• Current drivers license and own mode of transport preferable car is essential
• Ability to service your customers while managing work tasks around their needs
• Going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer focused problem solving
• Experience of resolving customer complaints and making quick decisions to ensure happy customers and timely accurate services
• Passion to exceed individual and store sales targets
• Flexibility across retail trading hours including weekends, public holidays and late night trades
