Job summary

Komforce Pty Ltd. is seeking an experienced Salesforce Project Manager to lead Field Service implementations for field-based service businesses in Australia. You will own scope, budget, timeline, and stakeholder confidence from kickoff to go-live and handover.

The role requires 5+ years in IT/software project management, 3+ years on Salesforce Field Service, and a proven track record delivering on time and on budget. Sydney-based with strong communication to senior stakeholders will be preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in IT or software delivery.
• 3+ years managing Salesforce projects.
• Delivery of at least two Salesforce Field Service implementations.
• Based in Australia with full working rights, Sydney preferred.
• Clear written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile delivery and hybrid project approaches.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run Salesforce Field Service projects from initiation to go-live.

About the job Salesforce Project Manager (FSL)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Project Manager to run Salesforce Field Service implementations for businesses that deliver services in the field. You will be accountable for scope, budget, timeline, and stakeholder confidence from kickoff through go-live and handover.

This role is based in Australia, Sydney preferred. The right candidate understands how Salesforce projects run, has managed Field Service rollouts before, and is comfortable working with technical teams and operations leaders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Project Delivery

• Plan and run Salesforce Field Service projects from initiation to go-live
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, risks, and dependencies
• Run sprint planning, stand-ups, and delivery governance
• Track progress and report status to the client and internal leadership
• Manage change requests and keep the project aligned to the agreed outcomes

Team Coordination

• Coordinate architects, developers, business analysts, and testers
• Work with the solution architect to keep design and delivery on track
• Manage onshore and offshore team members where required
• Keep the team focused and unblocked

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the main contact for client sponsors and operations leaders
• Manage expectations around scope, timeline, and trade-offs
• Run steering committee meetings and executive updates
• Work with dispatch and field operations teams on process change and adoption

Go-Live & Handover

• Plan data migration, UAT, training, and cutover
• Coordinate technician rollout, including mobile devices and field training
• Lead go-live and hypercare
• Hand over to the client support team or managed services

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must-Have

• 5+ years of project management experience in IT or software delivery
• 3+ years managing Salesforce projects
• Delivery of at least two Salesforce Field Service implementations
• Strong track record of delivering on time and on budget
• Experience with Agile delivery and hybrid project approaches
• Based in Australia with full working rights, Sydney preferred
• Clear written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders

Technical Awareness

• Good understanding of the Salesforce platform and the Field Service product
• Familiarity with scheduling, work orders, service appointments, and technician mobile workflows
• Comfortable with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar delivery tools
• Understanding of integration and data migration risks on enterprise projects

Preferred Certifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
• Certified Scrum Master or similar Agile certification

NICE TO HAVE

• Prior experience with a Salesforce partner or consultancy
• Background in Utilities, Telecommunications, or Energy
• Experience managing offshore delivery teams
• Experience with change management for field workforces
