Job summary

Australian Securities Exchange is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, build and maintain scalable solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Financial Cloud. You will work on Data 360 integrations and drive digital transformation within a hybrid work model.

The role requires 5–7 years of hands-on Salesforce development, expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce DX, with strong DevOps practices and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on Salesforce development across Sales, Service, and Financial Cloud.
• Proficient in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, LWC and Java; experienced with Salesforce DX.
• Knowledge of data governance, and security model within Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud and Data 360 using declarative and programmatic approaches.
• Develop solutions across Salesforce technologies - Apex, LWC, VisualForce, Omni Studio and SOQL/SOSL.
• Support digital transformation and continuous improvement of the core platform and deliver new customer-facing features.
• Implement and maintain Copado pipelines to enforce version control, CI/CD, automated testing and release governance.
• Enforce data governance standards including access controls, data classification, lineage documentation and field-level security.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events and middleware tools.
• Participate in solution design, estimation and backlog prioritisation within a dedicated agile delivery squad.
• Support performance tuning, governor limit management and proactive monitoring of platform health.

Our Team:

The Digital and Enterprise Technology team are to deliver compelling experiences through digital engagement platforms that support our customer centric digital strategy, driving growth, leading in innovation and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain scalable solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud and Data 360 using both declarative and programmatic approaches


• Develop and design solutions delivered across the range of Salesforce technologies- Apex, LWC, VisualForce, Omni Studio and SOQL/SOSL


• Work on digital transformation initiatives across the continuous improvement of the core platform and delivery of new and enhanced customer-facing features


• Implement and maintain Copado pipelines to enforce version control, CI/CD, automated testing and release governance across Salesforce environments


• Enforce data governance standards including access controls, data classification, lineage documentation and field- level security


• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, change data capture and middleware tools


• Participate in solution design, estimation and backlog prioritisation as part of a dedicated agile, cross-functional delivery squad working under SCRUM methodology


• Support performance tuning, governor limit management and proactive monitoring of platform health

Your experience and qualifications

Must have:

• 5-7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with demonstrable delivery across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Financial Services Cloud


• Ability to develop in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, LWC and Java, with expert knowledge of Salesforce DX and agile delivery practices


• Good understanding of the underlying Salesforce architecture with the ability to demonstrate solid experience on the platform


• Familiarity with integration patterns as they relate to Salesforce - REST API, Java API, Streaming API and ESB


• Previous experience working with DevOps principles, with exposure to Copado and GitLab


• Working knowledge of Salesforce Data 360 including data stream configuration, DMOs, identity resolution and calculated insights


• Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model - profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, field-level security and org-wide defaults


• Experience designing analytics solutions that comply with privacy, consent and regulatory requirements


• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders to refine requirements


• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification

Nice to have:

• Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification


• Exposure to Salesforce analytics platforms including CRM Analytics, Tableau Next and Data 360


• Recent experience developing for the Customer Community Cloud using Lightning Web Components


• Exposure to third-party offerings such as DocuSign, Temenos, Adobe Experience Manager or similar CMS


• Previous experience in financial services organisations or capital markets would be a distinct advantage

• Good understanding of microservices architecture and API development using event-driven architecture - Salesforce Event Bus in particular

• AI and Einstein features - Next Best Action, Einstein Copilot, Agentforce agent configuration
