Job summary

Medibank is seeking a Salesforce Engineer to join the MarTech team. You’ll build, optimise and integrate Salesforce solutions across customer, marketing and service platforms, focusing on automation and scalable platform improvements.

In a hybrid/remote role, you’ll work with an engineering lead and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into reliable technical outcomes, delivering measurable improvements for customer experiences and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Building, maintaining and improving Salesforce solutions across customer, marketing and service platforms.
• Using automation tools to simplify processes, improve efficiency and create better experiences for customers and teams.
• Configuring and enhancing appointment scheduling capabilities to support complex business requirements.
• Translating business needs into practical and scalable technology solutions.
• Designing and supporting integrations between Salesforce and other business systems.
• Troubleshooting platform issues, maintaining data quality and supporting reliable day-to-day operations. Collaborating with stakeholders across marketing, technology, data and architecture teams to deliver valuable outcomes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve platform performance and introduce new capabilities that support business growth.

Join Medibank as a MarTech Platform Engineer and help shape the Salesforce ecosystem that supports our Corporate, Overseas, Health & Wellbeing businesses. You'll work across Salesforce platforms to build, enhance and optimise customer and business experiences through automation, integration and platform innovation.

• Role type: 12 month Fixed-Term, Full-time
• Location: Hybrid / Remote
• Reporting to: Engineering Lead - MarTech

• You might already have the skills for this role if you…
• Have experience working with Salesforce platforms and enjoy building solutions that solve real business problems.
• Can translate business requirements into clear technical outcomes and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Have experience using Salesforce configuration and automation tools, including workflow and process automation capabilities.
• Understand how systems connect through integrations and are comfortable working with APIs and connected technologies.
• Bring strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Enjoy working collaboratively in agile delivery environments and balancing technical excellence with customer and business outcomes.
