Job summary

Recruitment Hive is seeking a Salesforce Development Lead for a Federal Government agency responsible for implementing the National Disability Insurance Scheme. The role focuses on governance, high-quality Vlocity components, and guiding best practices within a collaborative team of developers, UI/UX, solution architects and accessibility experts.

The position supports CI/CD, DevOps, and test automation across environments, with a hybrid work arrangement (2 days onsite) in ACT/NSW/Vic.

Qualifications

• Experience with OOP, design patterns and integrations (REST APIs, Platform Events).
• Experience with Source Control tools (GitLab) and package-based development.
• Experience with Salesforce platform technologies and cloud modules.
• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Omnistudio) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure governance and coding standards via reviews.
• Deliver Salesforce Vlocity components with team members.
• Guide best practice solution delivery using Salesforce.
• Support deployment across environments including Production.
• Adopt CI/CD, DevOps and test automation practices.

Our client, an independent Federal Government agency responsible for implementing and administering the National Disability Insurance Scheme, require the services of a Salesforce Development Lead

Duties of the Salesforce Development Lead

• Ensuring solutions adhere to governance and coding standards via reviews.
• Delivering quality Salesforce Vlocity components and solutions in concert with other developers, UI/UX experts, solution architects, and accessibility experts.
• Bringing your expertise of Salesforce Vlocity to help guide best practice solution delivery.
• Supporting the code deployment process through all environments including Production.
• Adopting and supporting the rollout of CI/CD and DevOps and test automation practise

Skills and Experience Required

• Experience working with OOP, frameworks & design patterns, in building and working with integrations (example REST APIs, Platform Events) and working with Source Control tools (e.g. GitLab) & package-based development
• Experience in Salesforce platform technologies such as Apex, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs as well as Vlocity package/Omnistudio platform using Ominiscripts, Flexcards, Integration procedure and DataRaptors
• Experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Health Cloud implementations
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II, Omnistudio Developer/Consultant, Salesforce Architect Domain) are highly desirable
• Experience with Atlassian Jira, VSCode and DevOps practices
