Job summary

Whizdom is seeking a Salesforce Developer (APS6 Equivalent) to join a high‑performing delivery team delivering ICT transformation for a major Commonwealth agency in Australia. You will develop Apex, LWC, OmniStudio, and REST integrations, support AI‑assisted development, and collaborate across stakeholders in an agile, hybrid environment with locations in Canberra and other approved sites.

The contract is 12 months with potential extension, and Australian citizenship with Baseline Clearance is

Qualifications

3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce development.
Expertise in Apex, LWC, OmniStudio, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors.
Experience with object-oriented programming, software frameworks, and design patterns.
Strong understanding of package-based development, source control, and DevOps practices.
Experience building integrations using REST APIs and Platform Events.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, OmniStudio, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors.
Establish and support AI-assisted development capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Design, develop, and maintain REST API integrations and platform integrations.
Work with source control and package-based development using GitLab, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
Support agile software delivery practices using Jira and related DevOps toolsets.
Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, testers, and business teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
Contribute to solution design, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement activities.
