Job summary

The Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions is seeking a Salesforce Developer to deliver enhancements across multiple Salesforce instances in an Agile environment. The role focuses on technical development, solution design, integrations, delivery and release management.

Certification and Trailhead badges are expected within 12 months and supported by the department. These are fixed‑term positions for 12 months with full‑time hours and located at 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne VIC

Qualifications

Experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud development and design.
Ability to provide strategy recommendations for development, including security and third‑party tools.
Experience managing changes across development environments in line with policies.
Knowledge of SDLC and use of Source Control tools (e.g. Bitbucket, Git) and test strategies.

Responsibilities

Develop Lightning UIs and components on the Salesforce platform.
Integrate Salesforce with other platforms (Office 365, Oracle) to deliver best practice outcomes.
Handle deployment, testing and release management in CI/CD environments.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, sizing and daily standups.
