Job summary

Slater and Gordon Lawyers in Melbourne is seeking a Salesforce Developer to implement enhancements on our Salesforce platform, providing client- and internal-facing functionality with integrations to various systems.

This is a full-time opportunity for a period of 3 months, offering a hybrid work environment and opportunities to lead release management tasks while leveraging Apex, Visualforce and LWC components along with API integrations.

Qualifications

• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer certification is required.
• 3-5 years' experience with Salesforce Lightning.
• Apex, VisualForce, LWC components, XML/JSON, APIs and JavaScript.
• Web technologies including HTML, CSS and jQuery.
• Delivery lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing and deployment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day Salesforce operations.
• Manage Salesforce Sandbox and UAT environments.
• Assist in release management to promote from sandbox to production.
• Lead or participate in projects supporting business objectives.
• Create delivery and coding standards for the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Automate deployment using Bitbucket pipelines.

What are we looking for?

In this role as a Salesforce Developer, you will be accountable for developing and implementing enhancements on our Salesforce platform. The technology is client and internal facing providing a rich set of functionality and integrations to various other systems.

This is full time opportunity for a period of 3 months.

Key responsibilities will include

• Perform all tasks related to the day-to-day operations of Salesforce
• Management and maintenance of the Salesforce Sandbox and UAT environments
• Assist in Release Management tasks required to promote tested functionality from sandbox into a production environment
• Undertake research and analysis to identify future technology trends
• To lead or participate in projects that support the objectives of the business
• Creation of delivery and coding standards of Salesforce Ecosystem
• Automating deployment using Bitbucket pipeline
• Proficient in Salesforce Architecture and solutioning following Salesforce best practices
