Job summary

Slater and Gordon Lawyers in Sydney is seeking a Junior Lawyer to join our Motor Vehicle Accidents team. This full-time, permanent role involves managing your own files and working with a respected national practice group; flexible work arrangements are welcome.

You will develop client relationships, pursue new business opportunities, and demonstrate excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Passion for personal injury law and exposure to a plaintiff personal injury practice (highly desirable).
• Excellent written and drafting skills.
• Exceptional experience in communication and customer service.
• Calm, easy-going nature; able to work autonomously or in a team.
• Ability to handle sensitive issues and exercise discretion.
• Demonstrated skills in effective network and relationship management.
• Available to work 38 hours per week, 8:30am–5pm, Monday to Friday.

What are we looking for?

Our Motor Vehicle Accidents team is growing, and we are now seeking a Junior Lawyer to join our Sydney team. This is a Full Time, Permanent role and you will be working with one of our most experienced and respected practice groups nationally which will see you managing your own files. We are also open to discussions regarding flexible work.

Our Motor Vehicle Accidents team support clients that have been injured in Vehicle accident and are needing support on their legal journey.

In addition to taking on a wide range of challenging legal matters, this role will also see you manage and strengthen existing community relationships along with initiating and building new networks. Your responsibilities will include:

To be eligible for this position, you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with full and unrestricted working rights in Australia. Proof of work rights will be required as part of the Slater and Gordon application process.
