Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll play an important role in supporting the success of our branch by delivering exceptional service to a broad customer base, including local farmers, primary producers and trade customers. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing outstanding customer service in-store and over the phone
Processing counter sales and customer enquiries
Stock control, ordering, receipting and dispatching goods
Maintaining a safe and well-presented store environment
Assisting with merchandise campaigns and product promotions
Loading and unloading deliveries
Seed mixing and general warehouse duties
Participating in a rotating Saturday roster
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a team environment and has an interest in agriculture and rural communities.
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Problem-solving abilities and a willingness to help customers
Sound computer skills including Microsoft Office
A current driver's licence
A forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one)
Previous experience in retail, rural merchandise, customer service, warehousing or agriculture will be highly regarded, but not essential.
