Job summary
Foster & Co is a family-owned jewellery business with an in-store manufacturing workshop, offering casual roles with potential for permanent positions. You will help customers celebrate special moments by guiding them through jewellery and gifts with care, in a busy retail environment.
We seek warm, proactive individuals with strong communication and reliability. Saturday work and peak trading periods, including Christmas, are essential.

- Experience in retail or sales is a plus

- Assist with repairs and custom jewellery enquiries with workshop support

- Maintain displays and store presentation
- Assist with transactions, stock handling and day-to-day store operations

You'll help customers celebrate life's special moments by guiding them through jewellery and gift choices with confidence and care.
Welcome customers and ask thoughtful questions to understand their needs
Guide customers through jewellery and gift choices with confidence and care
Work towards individual and team sales targets
Assist with repair and custom jewellery enquiries, supported by our workshop team
Follow up enquiries and help turn interest into purchases
Maintain beautiful displays and high store presentation standards
Assist with transactions, stock handling and everyday store operations
A warm, professional manner and strong communication skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Reliability, attention to detail and pride in your presentation
The ability to work collaboratively in a busy retail environment
Saturday availability is essential, along with availability during peak trading periods, including Christmas
Previous retail or sales experience is preferred
Jewellery experience is welcome, but a strong customer focus and willingness to learn matter too

$35 per hour plus super, with applicable penalty rates for weekends and public holidays
Opportunity to increase your hourly rate based on demonstrated sales performance
Work alongside the owners and a close team where your contribution matters
Develop your knowledge of jewellery, gemstones, repairs and custom design, with manufacturing jewellers on site
Receive practical training in products, sales approach and store processes
Potential for greater responsibility and permanent employment
