Tailored resume and cover letter, ready to send.
Agtech Food Manufacturing (AFM) on the Gold Coast is hiring a customer-focused role to handle inbound enquiries, scope projects, source ingredients and packaging, and prepare quotes through to order. You will nurture existing customers, drive reorders, and expand the Nourished Nutrients range with resellers.
You’ll work with production and purchasing teams and use Fishbowl and Bigin for orders and CRM management.
This is a new role, created because customer enquiries and quoting have grown. It's mostly inbound: you'll handle enquiries that come to us, work out what each customer needs, source the ingredients and packaging, prepare the quote, and follow it through until the job is won. Then you'll look after those customers and help them get more from us.
There's no high-pressure cold calling. You'll make some outbound contact to grow our Nourished Nutrients range with resellers. You'll report to our Operations Manager and work closely with our customer support, production and purchasing team.
Start date: Ideally early January 2027, straight after our Christmas shutdown. We can start the right person sooner if needed.
You don't need to be a traditional salesperson. You might come from sales coordination, account management, quoting or estimating, purchasing or procurement, or a customer-facing role in manufacturing or distribution. Experience from any background is welcome.
Experience in food, supplements, packaging or manufacturing, or with a CRM, is a bonus but not essential. We'll teach you the products.
Agtech Food Manufacturing (AFM) is a Gold Coast contract manufacturer making food and supplement products for brands across Australia. We produce capsules (bulk and packaged), powders and blends, supply ingredients, packaging and labels, offer white-label products through our own Nourished Nutrients range, and provide 3PL storage and dispatch. Freeze-dried products come through our sister company. We're part of the Agtech Group, a family-owned group of small businesses in food manufacturing, freeze drying and plant health.
We're a small, family business, and proud of it. We're a close team, decisions are quick, there's no corporate red tape, and you'll see the difference your work makes. It also means you'll wear a few hats and work closely with family members in the business. If you prefer the structure and size of a larger company, this probably isn't the role for you. If you like being part of a small team where you're known and trusted, we'd like to hear from you.
We use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to cut down repetitive admin, so you can spend more time with customers and suppliers. You'll be expected to learn and use them, check their output before it goes anywhere, keep customer information confidential, and know when a phone call or a face-to-face conversation is the better choice.
You must have the right to work in Australia.
