Hume Doors & Timber (QLD) Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team. The role involves travel across Far North Queensland from Cairns to Rockhampton, developing relationships with hardware retailers, construction firms, architects and interior designers, and promoting our door and timber products.

The company which has an enviable reputation for quality, affordability and functional design, employs over 300 people acrossQLD and NT.

The Company is seeking to hire an experienced, enthusiastic, and professionalSales Representative. The role will require some travel throughout Far North Queensland, specifically from Cairns down to Rockhampton.All applicants within our service region will be considered.

The successful applicant must demonstrate a professional manner withexcellent communication and interpersonal skills.You must also possess drive, a vibrant personality and the ability to deliver a high level of customer service. This role is crucial to our organisation as you are the link between our high quality manufacturing operations and ourend customers. It is necessary for you to possess an ability to increase your knowledge quickly and then be able to share that knowledge with others.

Your role will include developing relationships with key purchasing decision makers within our industry such as Hardware retailers, Construction companies, Architects, Interior Designers etc, helping them to understand our full product offering and the benefits of each of our products. Some of these businesses may not be direct customers of Hume, however, we are looking for someone who can influence their purchasing decisions with our customers.

Previous experience within our industryand knowledge of door and timber products would be a significant advantage.

This role offers a salarythat iscommensurate with experience along witha fully maintained vehicle.
