Job summary

Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs in Sydney is seeking an accomplished Sales Manager to lead a small team of sales consultants, inspire peak performance and boost member acquisition. You will report to the General Manager and work to exceed membership targets across the club network.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strategic planning, and a focus on driving corporate memberships and ancillary revenue while fostering a culture of high achievement in a dynamic fitness environment.

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager.
• Experience leading successful sales teams.
• Desirable marketing qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the membership sales team to achieve overall sales targets.
• Drive new Club memberships including Corporate memberships.
• Develop strategies to drive ancillary revenue for the Club through internal member spend.
• Motivate and manage a sales team to achieve their best results.

Our Sales Managers are the ambassadors of our business and we're searching for a genuine Leader who can inspire a small team of sales consultants to influence People to improve their life styles.

The objective of this role is to lead, support and develop the membership sales team and to achieve the overall sales targets of Next Gen, Ryde.

Experience/Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Proven success as a Sales Manager
• Tertiary qualification in marketing desirable
• Demonstrated history of leading successful sales teams
  

The Successful Applicant:

As the successful candidate you will be able to provide evidence of the following:

• A comprehensive understanding of the psychology of sales
• Building and managing a sales team
• Implementing and monitoring sales strategies
• Established understanding of marketing concepts and methods
• Drive new Club memberships including Corporate memberships
• Develop strategies to drive ancillary revenue for the Club, through internal member secondary spend
• A hands on, motivated and passionate Sales Manager
• Worked in the fitness and leisure industry or similar
• Ability to motivate a sales team to achieve their best results
