Pacific National in Australia is seeking a Sales Manager - Bulk to drive growth across our Bulk business. The role is primarily based in Sydney, with openness to Brisbane or Melbourne, and focuses on owning key customer relationships and shaping account strategies.

You will lead negotiations, develop tailored rail freight solutions and grow revenue by expanding existing accounts while pursuing new opportunities.

We're looking for a Sales Manager - Bulk to drive growth and unlock new commercial opportunities across our Bulk business. The role is preferably based in Sydney, but we're also open to candidates based in Brisbane or Melbourne.

What You'll Do

You'll drive profitable growth through strategic account management, customer partnerships and new business development.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial - Customer Sales, you will:

• Lead strategic account planning for key customers.
• Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Grow revenue across existing customer accounts.
• Lead commercial negotiations and contract renewals.
• Develop tailored rail freight and logistics solutions.
• Manage your sales pipeline and deliver against targets.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver customer outcomes.
• Champion safety and uphold our values.

What You'll Bring

You're a commercially minded sales professional who knows how to build strong relationships, identify opportunities and deliver results.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management.
• A track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Experience developing strategic account plans and sales pipelines.
• Confidence engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.
• A customer-focused, solutions-driven mindset.
• Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Rail, transport or logistics experience will be highly regarded.
• CRM and pipeline management experience will be advantageous.
