Job summary

Pramac, a Generac Company, is seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead the growth of Portable Generators and Home Backup Gas Generators across Australia and New Zealand. You will build and execute the national sales strategy, collaborating with dealers, contractors and retailers to establish Pramac as a leading brand in residential and light commercial backup power.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in sales, business development or channel management.
• Experience in generators, electrical products, power equipment, HVAC, building products, renewable energy or related industries.
• Strong business development and relationship management skills.
• Experience managing dealer, distributor or contractor networks.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and market share growth.
• Drive sales of portable generators and residential standby gas generators.
• Recruit, develop and support dealer and installer networks across Australia.
• Build strong relationships with electrical wholesalers, hardware retailers, power equipment dealers and contractors.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities in residential, rural and light commercial markets.
• Manage key accounts and strategic partnerships.
• Deliver product training and sales support to channel partners.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM reporting.
• Represent Pramac at industry events, exhibitions and customer presentations.
