Daimler Trucks Wagga is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our growing team in NSW. You will partner with departments to deliver exceptional service, manage the sales process from inquiry to delivery, and maintain accurate records. This fast-paced automotive environment rewards precision and proactive problem-solving.

Ideally you are highly organised, customer-focused, with strong communication and collaborative skills, and you have experience in the automotive/truck industry or related sectors.

  • Process sales confirmations and manage the build process.

  • Oversee truck delivery preparation and final inspections.
  • Organise registrations, trade plates and supplier invoices.
  • Provide build status updates to customers and monitor KPIs.

About you:

You're highly organised, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced automotive environment. With exceptional attention to detail and strong coordination skills, you effectively manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines. You take pride in delivering outstanding customer service, building strong relationships across departments, and ensuring sales processes run smoothly from enquiry through to delivery. Your collaborative approach and commitment to excellence contribute to a seamless experience for both customers and the wider team.

Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Previous experience in the automotive industry is highly regarded, with truck industry knowledge viewed favourably.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all administrative tasks.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.

A customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

The ability to work collaboratively within a team while also managing tasks independently.

Confidence using computer systems and maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the General Manager, you will partner closely with various departments to ensure a seamless experience and outstanding service for our internal and external customers.

Process sales confirmations and manage the build process, ensuring all sales administration, purchase orders, and invoicing are completed accurately and on time.

Maintain and audit stock locations, vehicle movements, and truck scheduling.

Prepare and maintain delivery schedules and weekly stock lists.

Oversee truck delivery preparation, including pre-delivery build-ups, accessory orders, and final inspections.

Organise registrations, trade plates and supplier invoices.

Liaise with customers throughout the process, providing build status updates, delivery timelines, and post-delivery follow up.

Monitor KPIs such as stock health and delivery timelines, and provide accurate weekly and monthly reports.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with the Sales Dealership Teams to maintain a "one team" culture.

An attractive pay rate that is above award plus overtime.
