ABOUT THE ROLE

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

Our sales team is on the road building relationships and closing deals. This role exists to make sure they can stay there. As Sales Coordinator, you will own the quoting and deal desk process, keep our CRM accurate and current, and surface the market intelligence the business needs to win more work. You are the operational engine behind the TL Engineering sales function.

RESPONSIBILITIES

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Estimating and deal desk

• Prepare accurate, detailed quotes for heavy vehicle builds, fit-outs, and modifications using SimPRO
• Coordinate with workshop and engineering to confirm scope, lead times, and pricing
• Manage the quote register, track outstanding submissions, and follow up with clients and the sales team
• Support the preparation of tenders, proposals, and client-facing documentation
• Maintain consistent quoting standards across all TL Engineering product lines
• Ensure all quoting activity is documented and correctly assigned in the job management system

CRM and pipeline reporting

• Maintain deal records in Zoho CRM with accurate pipeline stage, value, and activity data
• Produce weekly and monthly pipeline reports for the sales team and management
• Identify data gaps and enforce CRM hygiene across the sales function
• Update lead and contact records following sales activity, site visits, and calls
• Assist with Zoho Campaigns activity tracking and eDM reporting where required

Market research and opportunity identification

• Monitor procurement portals, tender platforms, and industry publications for relevant opportunities
• Research prospect accounts and support the sales team with pre-call intelligence
• Contribute to competitor and market tracking as directed by the sales and marketing team

WHAT YOU BRING

• 1 to 3 years in a sales support, estimating, administration, or operations coordination role
• Comfort with job management or quoting software. SimPRO is preferred. Similar platforms are considered.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to data, documentation, and follow-through
• Clear written communication. You produce accurate, professional client-facing documents without being asked twice.
• Competent with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• A genuine interest in the heavy vehicle, construction, resources, or engineering sector
• CRM experience (Zoho or similar) is advantageous but not required
• You can manage multiple active quotes simultaneously and work autonomously without needing to be managed
