Job summary

SB Recruitment is assisting a privately owned Australian gold bullion business in Sydney to recruit a Customer Services professional who loves helping people face to face. No finance experience is required as full training is provided.

You will welcome clients and guide them through opening accounts, handling sales and purchases, and providing friendly, professional service from first contact to completion. Regular hours are 8:30am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekends.

• Great launchpad for early career candidates from customer service, concierge, venue, hospitality, retail or front of house backgrounds
• Consistent hours of 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with no weekends or late finishes

Responsibilities

• Welcome new clients and guide them through opening their account, with a smooth and professional experience from the very first conversation
• Look after client sales and purchases from start to finish, so people feel confident and well looked after every step of the way
• Be the go to voice for clients and stakeholders on inbound and outbound calls
• Support high value transactions with accuracy and care, and see the real impact of your work
• Work within established procedures and regulatory requirements, building a strong understanding of compliance and ethical business practice
• Manage account opening and closing to a consistently high standard
• Pick up projects with the Operations Manager as your skills and confidence grow, giving you a window into how the whole business runs
• Learn an exciting, specialised industry with full training and support behind you

About You

To be successful in this role ideally you will have:

• Up to two years’ experience in a customer facing role such as customer service, concierge, venue, front of house, hospitality, retail or similar, or you’re just starting out and keen to prove yourself
• A real people person with a positive, energetic attitude and a passion for exceptional service
• Excellent client skills, with a friendly, professional manner and the confidence to stay calm and helpful with demanding clients
• Clear, confident communication, both face to face and over the phone
• Adaptable, comfortable with change, and quick to pick up new systems and processes
• A great fit for a close, collaborative team, with a supportive attitude and a genuine investment in shared success
• Curious and eager to learn, with an openness to building a career in finance
• Good organisation and written communication skills
• A proactive, can do mindset and the willingness to take on responsibility
