Job summary

Car Audio Excellence in Penrith is seeking a motivated Junior Retail Shop Assistant to join our high‑performing team. This full‑time permanent role runs Monday to Friday with some Saturdays and offers a friendly, hands‑on learning environment.

You will support our Senior Sales Team by providing friendly customer service, processing sales through the POS, answering enquiries, merchandising and replenishing stock, and keeping the store clean and well presented.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or retail experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and proactive learning.
• Available Mon-Fri and some Saturdays.
• Current valid driver’s licence and working rights in Australia.

About the Role:

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Retail Shop Assistant to join our high-performing team at our Penrith store. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday and some Saturdays.

You will support our Senior Sales Team by providing friendly customer service and helping keep the store clean, organised and well presented.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting customers and processing sales through the POS system
• Answering phone enquiries and assisting with customer questions
• Merchandising and replenishing stock
• Packing and unpacking deliveries
• General cleaning and maintaining store presentation

• Positive attitude and friendly communication skills
• Reliable, organised and great attention to detail
• Motivated and eager to learn new skills
• Previous customer service or retail experience
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Essential Requirements:

• Available to work Mon - Fri and some Saturdays
