Job summary

Studio Amelia Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an organised and proactive Sales & Studio Assistant to join our small team. You will gain hands-on experience across wholesale, PR, marketing and product development while supporting day-to-day operations in our Sydney studio.

• Experience in fashion, retail, eCommerce or admin is advantageous but not essential.
• Familiarity with Shopify or JOOR is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day sales operations and administration across wholesale and eCommerce.
• Support processing and tracking of wholesale orders through internal databases.
• Liaise with international retailers, sales agents and logistics partners regarding performance, assets, orders and deliveries.
• Assist with wholesale invoicing, returns and credit notes.
• Maintain wholesale databases, client lists and seasonal sales reports.
• Support retailer requests and in-season sales initiatives.
• Process customer returns and exchanges.
• Support inventory management, stock checks and stocktakes.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet brand standards.
• Assist with customer enquiries and general eCommerce administration.

We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and detail-oriented Sales & Studio Assistant to join our small team in Sydney.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in fashion who is eager to learn and gain hands‑on experience in the industry.

Working across all areas in our Sydney studio, you will support the day‑to‑day operations of the business, with exposure to Wholesale, PR, Marketing and Product Development.

Based in Sydney, we are a small, hands‑on team working across all aspects of the business, from design and development to global wholesale and eCommerce.

The Role

• Assist with day‑to‑day sales operations and administration across both international wholesale and the eCommerce business.
• Support the processing and tracking of wholesale orders through internal databases
• Liaise with international retailers, sales agents and logistics partners regarding performance, creative assets, orders and deliveries.
• Assist with wholesale invoicing, returns and credit notes.
• Maintain wholesale databases, client lists and seasonal sales reports.
• Support the team with retailer requests and in‑season sales initiatives.
• Process customer returns and exchanges.
• Support inventory management, stock checks and stocktakes.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet brand standards.
• Assist with customer enquiries and general eCommerce administration.

Production & Product Development Support

• Assist the Production team with day‑to‑day administration and coordination.
• Track incoming samples, production orders and shipments.
• Assist with faulty product claims, repairs and factory credits.
• Support the team with seasonal product development and adhoc design and development tasks.

PR, Marketing & Sample Management

• Assist with seasonal sales campaigns, showroom preparations and sample coordination.
• Coordinate sample movements for press, stylists, VIPs and wholesale partners.
• Assist with preparing and dispatching PR gifting and seasonal send‑outs.
• Maintain sample organisation and tracking.
• Provide general support for marketing activities, content shoots and brand initiatives as required.
• Provide day‑to‑day administrative and operational support across departments.
• Assist with studio organisation, deliveries and general office coordination.

Desired Skills and Experience

• A genuine interest in fashion, footwear and the wider fashion industry.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
• Previous experience in fashion, retail, eCommerce or administration is advantageous but not essential.
• Familiarity with Shopify, JOOR or similar platforms is a bonus.
