Job summary

JBS Pork Australia, based in Port Melbourne, is seeking a Sales Administration Assistant to provide critical administrative and analytical support to the sales team, ensuring customer requirements are managed efficiently and key commercial processes are executed accurately and on time.

You'll work closely with National Account Managers, Customer Service, Logistics and Finance to support sales reporting, claims processing, inventory reporting and customer administration in a fast-paced FMCG

Qualifications

• Experience in sales support, administration or customer-facing roles in FMCG.
• Strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills across multiple systems.
• Strong analytical and numerical capability with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with a customer focus.
• Ability to prioritise, work autonomously and contribute to a team.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset and willingness to improve processes.
• Business or administration qualification preferred, but not essential.

About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Administration Assistant to join our team. Based in Port Melbourne, you will provide critical administrative and analytical support to the sales team, ensuring customer requirements are managed efficiently, and key commercial processes are executed accurately and on time.
Working closely with National Account Managers, Customer Service, Logistics, Finance and key retail customers, you will support sales reporting and analysis, claims processing, inventory reporting and customer administration activities. This role plays an important part in maintaining strong customer relationships, supporting revenue delivery, and ensuring smooth day-to-day commercial operations within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse sales, pricing, promotional and claims data to support commercial decision-making.
• Prepare and maintain sales, inventory, and customer reporting to deliver meaningful business insights.
• Support customer administration requirements and ensure timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Process and manage customer claims, ensuring accurate follow-up and resolution.
• Collaborate with Logistics and cross-functional teams to support DIFOT performance and customer service outcomes.

About You

• Experience in sales support, administration or customer-facing coordination roles, ideally within FMCG or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills, with confidence working across multiple business systems.
• Strong analytical and numerical capability with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to prioritise competing tasks, work autonomously, and contribute effectively within a team environment.
• A proactive, collaborative, and solution-focused mindset with a willingness to learn and improve processes.
• Business or administration-related qualification preferred, but not essential.
