Job summary

Gorilla Jobs Pty Ltd. in Sydney seeks a senior construction lawyer to run your own practice within a boutique environment.

You will manage construction contracts, disputes and security of payment, acting for developers, builders, contractors and consultants with the firm providing marketing and systems support. You should bring 8+ years of building and construction experience, a client base at least covering your salary package, and a current Australian practising certificate.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in building and construction law.
• Existing client base that can at least cover the salary package.
• Willingness to work mainly from the Sydney CBD office.

Responsibilities

• Run a building and construction practice as your own.
• Advise on construction contracts, disputes and security of payment.
• Act for developers, builders, contractors and consultants.
• Bring existing relationships and win new work.
• Use the firm's marketing and business development support.
• Develop junior lawyers.
