Job summary

Redpath Mining invites applications for a Safety & Training Coordinator at North Parkes, NSW. Reporting to site leadership, you will drive safety systems, training programs and workforce competency management to ensure a compliant workplace.

You will coordinate inductions, maintain training records, assist with audits and investigations, and liaise with leaders and providers to sustain safety excellence on one of Australia\'s major underground projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in Safety, Training or Workforce Development within mining or heavy industry.
• Knowledge of training and competency management systems.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety practices and legislation.
• Strong administrative and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site training, onboarding and competency management systems.
• Maintain employee training records and compliance documentation.
• Support safety initiatives, inspections and audits.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Facilitate inductions and site-specific training programs.
• Monitor statutory training and refresher requirements.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across all work groups.
• Prepare reports and training matrices for compliance.
• Support workforce mobilisation and contractor compliance processes.
• Liaise with operations leaders, employees and external training providers.
