Job summary

Redpath Mining is seeking a proactive Safety & Training Administrator for the Appin Project in New South Wales. The role supports health, safety, training and site administration within a dynamic mining setting.

You will coordinate training, inductions and compliance activities, maintain records and assist with investigations and reporting. This full-time position offers strong career development and industry training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous site admin experience, ideally in mining, construction, or industrial environments.
• Exposure to Safety Management Systems and understanding of workplace compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Advanced computer skills across Oracle and Microsoft Office with attention to detail and record management capabilities.
• Proven ability to problem solve, adapt to changing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site training, inductions, assessments and external training requirements.

• Manage employee medical and screening requirements.
• Support compliance with Safety Management Systems, statutory regulations and risk management processes.
• Coordinate workplace inspections, task observations, incident investigations and reporting.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Safety & Training Administrator to join our team at the Appin Project. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of health, safety, training, and administrative functions within a dynamic mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate site training, assessments, inductions and external training requirements.
• Maintain accurate training records, competency matrices, and compliance reporting.
• Manage employee medical and screening requirements.
• Support compliance with Safety Management Systems, statutory regulations, and workplace risk management processes.
• Coordinate workplace inspections, task observations, incident investigations, and reporting activities.
• Assist with injury management, rehabilitation, site administration, and provide support to Project Managers, Superintendents, and the wider site team.

About You:

• Previous experience in site administration, ideally within a mining, construction, or industrial environment.
• Exposure to Safety Management Systems and an understanding of workplace compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Advanced computer skills, particularly across the Oracle, Microsoft Office Suite, with strong attention to detail and record management capabilities.
• Proven ability to problem solve, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
