Job summary

EQ Resources Limited is hiring a Safety Systems and Compliance Specialist at Mt Carbine, Far North Queensland. You will be the site expert for safety, risk and governance systems behind the SHMS, ensuring accurate data, configuration, and user training.

You will coordinate the occupational health and hygiene program and fitness for work arrangements. You will work with STR Superintendents and the STR team on a 9-day fortnight roster, supporting audits, reporting and continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• Essential: Certificate III or higher in an aligned discipline, such as work health and safety, or risk management.
• Experience administering, maintaining or improving safety, risk or governance systems (essential).
• Strong data and reporting skills, with advanced Excel and experience in SAP, LAAMP, SharePoint or Power BI highly regarded.
• Mining, quarrying or heavy industry experience (highly regarded).
• A meticulous, confidential approach to information, and a current Queensland C Class driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Administer and improve our safety, risk and governance systems, including SAP EHS, incident management, risk and hazard registers, CCV and inspection tools, and document control
• Manage system configuration, user access, data quality and audit trails, and train and support system users
• Monitor how safety and risk systems and processes are applied at the workface, and track actions, audits, inspections and CCVs to closure
• Maintain the SHMS document library, registers and the Mine Record, and prepare evidence for audits and regulator inspections
• Assist with preparation for compliance requirements including but not limited to high level investigations, regulatory compliance and Inspectorate audits.
• Produce clear safety and health reports and dashboards for site leaders
