Job summary

Linfox in East Arm, NT is seeking a Safety & Compliance Coordinator to lead safety systems, enforce policies, and drive continuous improvement across intermodal operations. This full-time role collaborates with leaders, subcontractors and drivers to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Requirements include a Certificate IV in WHS, knowledge of CoR/HVNL, audits and investigations experience, and the ability to influence and coach teams while maintaining regulatory records.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting safety management systems, policies and compliance procedures within a transport/logistics operational environment
• Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) or similar qualification
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations and Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL)
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, incident investigations and corrective action management
• Experience maintaining compliance records, regulatory documentation and reporting requirements
• Ability to influence and coach operational leaders, employees and contractors on safety and compliance outcomes

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor compliance with Linfox safety systems, policies and legislative requirements
• Coach and support operational leaders to strengthen safety leadership and compliance outcomes
• Investigate hazards, incidents and non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed out
• Coordinate audits, risk assessments and reviews to support accreditation and continuous improvement requirements
• Monitor driver, subcontractor, vehicle and asset compliance obligations across the operation
• Deliver safety training, emergency management activities and site compliance initiatives
