Job summary

The Reject Shop in Australia is seeking a Safety & Asset Protection Coordinator to join the Store Support Centre. This hands-on role involves coordinating safety incidents, managing injury records, and supporting workers’ compensation processes to protect stores from risk, theft and loss.

You’ll collaborate with stores, operations and People & Culture to ensure incidents are managed promptly, information is accurate and actions are followed through.

Qualifications

• Minimum tertiary qualifications in HR, Safety, Risk or Business.
• Strong communication and organisation with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficient in Excel and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety incidents, injury records and follow-up actions promptly.
• Support Return to Work processes with documentation and certificates.
• Assist with incident investigations by gathering information, evidence and CCTV footage.
• Manage CCTV footage requests and assist stores with security requirements.
• Monitor Auror incident reporting and case management records.
• Produce regular safety, incident, shrink and asset protection reports.
• Use Excel and internal systems to maintain data and identify trends.
